Biografía

En 1986 se traslada a España.
En 2007 y 2008 forma parte del jurado de diversos premios: Premio AULA de EL MUNDO. Madrid (España); XI Certamen de Pintura y Escultura de Aranjuez. (Madrid);  III Certamen de Jóvenes Creadores. Aranjuez; Creadora de las esculturas para el Premio AULA  de EL MUNDO 2007. Madrid; XXV Bienal de Jacinto Higuera. Santisteban del Puerto (Jaén. España); Premio Ciudad de Badajoz (España). Ha realizado exposiciones individuales en diversas ciudades españolas. También ha expuesto en París (Francia); Wiesbaden (Alemania); Lisboa (Portugal). Ha obtenido numerosos premios nacionales de Artes Plásticas.

 

 

Reseña crítica

En la obra de Hellenschmidt, las figuras no muestran rasgos individualizados, toda la atención se centra en conseguir el equilibrio de la vida interior y la acción. Por ello, general­mente, vemos seres en movimiento y cuando no lo están la flexión de cualquier parte de su anatomía trasmite las sensa­ciones e inquietudes interiores que experimenta, fruto de la reflexión y del asombro que le produce el descubrimiento del mundo exterior. Biography

In 1986 she moved to Spain.

In 2007 and 2008 she was member of the jury in different awards: Award AULA DEL MUNDO. Madrid (Spain); 10^th Painting and Sculpture Competition in Aranjuez (Madrid); 3^rd young inventors competition; inventor of the sculptures in the AULA EN EL MUNDO award IN 2007 (Madrid); 25^th   Jacinto Higuera Biennial.Santisteban del Puerto (Jaén. Sapin); Ciudad de Badajoz Award (Spain). She has made individual exhibitions in different cities in Spain: Madrid, Barcelona, Segovia, Cáceres, Salamanca, Sevilla, San Sebastián, Zaragoza. She has also made others exhibitions in Paris (France), Wiesbaden (Germany) and Lisboa (Portugal). She has won a large of national Fine Arts Awards.

 

Critical review

I In Helenschmidt works, the figures do not reveal individualized features, all the action is focused on reaching the balance between interior life and action. For that, generally, we see mortals in motion and when they are not, the flexion in whichever part of their anatomy transmits the feeling and inner restlessness experienced, product of the reflection and amazement produced by the discovery of the outer world.
